APEX Voice Communications Relaunches its
Worldwide APEX Reseller Program (ARP).

New program reaffirms continued commitment to VAR channel
as it improves on original program successfully launched in 1991

SHERMAN OAKS, CA, FEBRUARY 5, 2002APEX Voice Communications, a leading supplier of IP and TDM-based enhanced services and billing solutions to network service providers, value-added-resellers (VARs) and enterprises in 75 countries, today announced the relaunch of its APEX Reseller Program, or ARP (www.arp.apexvoice.com). Originally launched in 1991, over the last decade ARP has successfully met and exceeded its main objectives to help APEX resellers increase their revenue streams, realize rapid return-on-investment and implement growth strategies using APEX-based solutions. Targeted to telecom and enterprise VARs, ARP provides both enhanced benefits as well as traditional reseller program benefits.

“Since the inception of our first VAR program back in 1991, we have always believed a successful reseller program should equally benefit both the manufacturer and its resellers so as to increase repeat business,” said Elhum Vahdat, Executive Vice President of APEX. “VARs have continuously played a key role in the success of APEX around the world. This new APEX Reseller Program was also designed with considerable input from our resellers to meet their needs as well as ours.”

To continue meeting and exceeding the main objectives of ARP, the newly relaunched program includes both service-ready solutions, such as APEX Prepaid and Wireless E-Mail, as well as development platforms, such as the award-winning OmniVox® Intelligent Call Processor. ARP now also includes support for project management services, where APEX will provide a statement-of-work, a project plan, pre-installation checklist and all other necessary documentation for the efficient management of the project, reducing the time to return-on-investment. Additionally, ARP Members will shortly have access to the ARP Application Catalog, a resource guide where Members can list their APEX applications and third-party product integrations for other Members to acquire and resell.

“Thanks to ARP and its Member networking possibilities, we are selling our OmniVox applications over and over, to regions we never thought we could reach,” said Mike Trank, Executive Vice President of Netcom. “We are currently installing our cellular voice portal application in Cambodia.”

Other benefits resellers receive my joining ARP include volume purchase pricing, lead referral, sales training, joint visits and joint marketing activities including trade shows, advertising, success stories and press releases. VARs can now join ARP by simply filling in the on-line application at www.arp.apexvoice.com and clicking on “Apply On-Line Now.”

To provide the best possible solution and service to APEX end-users, ARP divides its resellers into two distinct categories: Telecom Solutions Providers (TSRs) and Enterprise Solutions Providers (ESRs). TSRs primarily focus on selling APEX service-ready solutions (prepaid, messaging, wireless e-mail, etc.), network IVR, enhanced switching and intelligent call routing applications to service providers and carriers, while ESRs focus on selling OmniVox-based solutions to the enterprise and call-centers market.
