APEX Voice Communications Announces Strategic
Partnership with NEC America.

APEX customers now have access to industry-standard, high-density, fault-tolerant enhanced services and billing solutions.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA, September 14, 2003 - APEX Voice Communications, a leading supplier of enhanced services and billing solutions to telecommunications carriers, service providers and enterprises worldwide, announced that it had signed a strategic partnership agreement with NEC Solutions America to integrate NEC's fault-tolerant servers with its enhanced services and billing solutions.

The NEC servers will be immediately available to work with a number of APEX solutions, including the APEX Enhanced Switch, Billing System, Prepaid System and Messaging System. By providing continuous availability using industry-standard components, APEX and NEC have opened the doors to fault-tolerant enhanced services and billing solutions to small- and medium-sized carriers and service providers.
