Project Management

An important element of a successful installation at APEX is due to the outstanding results achieved by its Professional Services Group. For service-ready solutions, APEX offers, at no additional cost to our customers, detailed Project Management services. At APEX, we believe that Project Management is critical to achieve a successful, efficient, controlled and properly executed project. Our team of Project Managers provides our customers with the knowledge, experience, skills and tools for a successful implementation. As every project is unique, our experience is critical to identify project requirements to properly define the scope of work, deliverables and contain expectations.

A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) document is drafted for our customer’s review and approval as part of Project Management services. The SOW is critical for successful project implementation as it outlines in detail: project scope, solution components, deliverables, responsibility of parties, project schedules, network and site requirements diagrams, change management and acceptance procedures.

APEX Project Life Cycle

APEX projects are broken down into five phases. Each phase is divided into tasks consisting on specific deliverables. Each deliverable is “owned” either by APEX or the customer and become critical for timely project implementation. The five project phases are:

Sales Phase - birth phase of the project. Sales, Project Manager and Customer define project goals.

Planning Phase - solution components are order from our vendors, specifically for the project.

Solution Development Phase – systems are built per the solution components defined in the Statement of Work.

Deployment Phase - solution is implemented at customer site.

Post-Deployment Phase - solution is put through a series of tests for final acceptance.
