A transactions-based call rating and billing system with full journaling capabilities, the APEX Billing System (ABS) is an all-in one billing solution. The Billing Engine provides unlimited, multi-tiered real time rating and a full-featured management system for Service Providers providing wireless, wire-line and IP services.

ABS is based on an accounting-oriented database designed for extensive reporting capabilities and flexibility. ABS has a modular software design supporting Local, Long Distance, Prepaid, Prepaid Cellular, Cellular, Callback, Prepaid Callback, IP, Carrier, Travel Card, and Paging.

Employing industry standards, the APEX Billing System's graphical user interface provides easy access and management of all information. Screens are logically organized, most containing a browser to examine and retrieve records simultaneously. New services can be added and deployed quickly.

The APEX Billing System integrates the award winning OmniVox3D Application Server Software for call scripting, recording and editing voice prompts. OmniVox3D also supports Automatic Speech Recognition, Voice Dialing, Fax, Text-to-Speech, SS7 signaling, and IVR functions. Customization is easily achieved as the user has the flexibility to enhance these call flows, create their own, or call upon APEX's Professional Services team to assist with the custom development processes.
