SIP NETWORK SERVICES TRAINING SEMINAR HELD IN MONTERREY, MEXICO FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CARRIERS

- Region's Leading Telecommunications Companies Attend "Invitation Only" Seminar -

SIP NETWORK SERVICES TRAINING SEMINAR, Monterrey, Mexico, May 23, 2007 - APEX Voice Communications, a worldwide supplier of (SIP) Application Servers, and a founding member of the SIP Network Services Seminars, recently announced the successful conclusion of another of its Training Seminars, this one held in Monterey, Mexico. The Training Seminar, which was by invitation only and held at the Hotel Intercontinental Presidente, was attended by 52 participants from the regions leading telecommunications Service Providers and Carriers.

The Training Seminar, sponsored by APEX, six other leading SIP technology companies and two media companies, brought SIP network component manufactures together, giving participants a unique forum to learn the state of SIP as it relates to key components in today's SIP networks and also "test drive" products while building real-world applications/services. Some of the SIP network components which were presented included application servers, media servers, media gateways, session border controllers, SMS servers, as well as automated speech recognition and text-to-speech engines.

During the three-day Seminar, which was held in Spanish, participants had the opportunity to use the various components and become trained on how to Design, Develop and Deploy value-added and multi-media services. As these are hands-on Training Seminars primarily for Service Provider and Carriers who are at the forefront of their industry, capacity was limited to only 50 participants. At the end of the Seminar, each of the participants received a certificate of training and a production software license of some of the products which they were trained on.

In 2006, over 250 participants were trained in various aspects of SIP at the SIP Network Services Training Seminars held in different countries. Some of the participants who have attended these Training Seminars are from leading companies such as Telefonica, Movistar, ICE, Comcel, CanTV, Telecom Personal, Marcatel and Verizon.
