BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, May 24, 2006 - APEX Voice Communications, a leading supplier of multi-service platforms for enhanced services and real-time billing solutions to telecommunications carriers, service providers, developers and enterprises worldwide, held its first Latin American Quarterly Training Seminar (QTS) of 2006 to a full house. With participants from seven countries representing over 15 companies across Latin America, the three-day seminar focused on APEX's latest products, as well as industry technologies and trends.
Held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from May 22nd through 24th, the APEX QTS drew attendees from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia and Venezuela. Participants were immersed in training sessions on APEX's latest products, including the OmniVox3D® Application Server and the OmniVoXML Media Gateway. Each participant had hands-on involvement with VoIP-based systems and was able to develop a variety of applications, including one in relation to the 2006 World Cup.
"The Seminar was very useful not only because we got to see the presentations about the new product, but we were also able to share experiences with other APEX platform users," said Luis Sosa, Internal Telephony and Call Center Manager, Movistar Uruguay.
