It can be a standalone solution, or it can be combined with other solutions, such as APEX Messaging, and with other technologies, such as Automated Speech Recognition, Text-to-Speech and LDAP/IMAP. Its open architecture allows for not only Intel based Telephony, but also support for Cisco VoIP Gateways via its Radius Interface.

Based on the OmniVox3D Application Server Software SS7 Integration, the APEX MSP offers great flexibility in the choice of Network Architecture. The APEX MSP ISUP Loopback solution offers a cost effective alternative for offering Prepaid Calling Cards directly on an existing network while with limited need for Media and IVR ports.
Protocol Conversion and SS7 Gateways – The APEX Multi-Service Platform has been deployed in more than 200 Service Providers worldwide. Based on the OmniVox3D Application Server Software SS7 integration, the APEX MSP offers great flexibility in the choice of the Service Provider's Network Architecture. The APEX MSP can act as a switch to front end Telephony solutions which are not SS7 enabled or as a Network wide Distributed Gateway of legacy OmniVox and/or OmniVox3D Application Servers and IVR devices.
